The Lobster 3, Laticsjazzal and Malc Jackson 1 each - played on 2 highly
polished tables in half a Sports Hall with 4 other games and Taekwondo
going on - not the most condusive but still unbeaten

Lancashire and Cheshire Vetts Second Match

The Vets First Team maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a very hard fought 5 all draw against the ever tough Ellesmere Port A Team - Walshy in his first outing clinching the draw with the final game of the evening to go with his win earlier - Brian Anderson and Skipper Alec Almond both contributed a game whilst the newly formed doubles combination Almond and Walsh performed admirably in taking their game 3-1. This means that we have now managed to win 13 points from the first 2 games of the season - a much better start than in recent years and the team is now looking forward to its next test away at Blackpool on Thursday 10th December.

Lancashire and Cheshire Mens Weekend

C Strettle, D Andrews and S Rowe played for Wigan in the first Lancs and Cheshire weekend. The day is a full day starting at 9am, until well after 6pm. 4 games played with a possible 24 points, Wigan finished the day with 16 points, and are currently second in the league, just 2 points behind Southport. Great start.
